We will begin our tour by going to the Independence Hall, the place where the State of Israel was declared on May 14, 1948. Afterwards we continue our travels south of Tel Aviv to the Ayallon underground bullet factory that was used to make bullets during the 1969 war. We continue on to the cities of Ashdod and Ashkelon to learn about the Philistine presence in the time of the Old Testament. We continue on to the border with the Gaza strip at Kibbutz Yad Mordecai. We will see Gaza from a safe distance and talk about the Biblical history and the present day situation. After this we continue on to Beersheba where we will stay for the night.
