Today we leave Eilat and we will visit the Tabernacle model at Timna. This is a full scale replica of the Old Testament Tabernacle as described in Exodus 35-40. We will then journey on to Masada, where there are ruins of one of Herod's palaces and which is also the place where 960 Jews committed mass suicide when besieged by the Romans around 70 AD. After our visit to Masada we will travel a short distance back to our hotel by the Dead Sea. While staying at the hotel you will have the opportunity to go for a float in the Dead Sea and enjoy a swim in the magnificent pool at the hotel.
