Today we travel north toward the Galilee area. On our way we will visit Ein Gedi, the place where David hid from Saul and then on to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We will then make a quick visit to the baptism site on the Jordan river followed by a drive through Jericho before going on to Beit Shean. This is the place where King Saul was killed (1 Sam.31) and is one of the Decapolis cities of the New Testament. After our visit here we will go on to our hotel by the Sea of Galilee.
